With Christmas fast approaching, it’s time to dust off your old Christmas decorations and spend hours untangling metres and metres of Christmas lights to decorate the outside of the house, only to realise half of them are not even working anymore!
However, one big plus this year is you can put away the nails or staples. Our magnetic hooks mean no more spending hours getting sunburned hammering nails into awkward spaces while balancing on a ladder to hang your lights.
In this DIY, we show you just how quick and easy it can be to hang your Christmas lights with our versatile magnetic hooks!
Level of Difficulty:

Project Duration:
20 minutes
Music album to listen along to (COMPULSORY ????):
A Holly Dolly Christmas – Dolly Parton
MATERIALS
Pinnacle Hardware 25mm Magnetic Hooks, Christmas lights of your choice and a ladder depending on the height you are hanging your lights.
Please note: When climbing a ladder, ensure you have the assistance of another person to help keep the ladder steady and to pass the lights up.
STEP 1
The first couple of metres did not have a metal fascia so we utilised some existing nails to start hanging the Christmas lights.
STEP 2
Using our magnetic hooks is as easy as it sounds. These hooks feature Rare Earth Magnets, which are much stronger than other types of magnets, making them very easy to use and more than strong enough to handle hanging your run-of-the-mill Christmas lights.
STEP 3
We recommend spacing your magnetic hooks 1 metre apart.
