As Christmas approaches, many of us are in the process of dusting off Christmas trees and decorations and getting everything set up for the holiday season. As you’re getting the tree ready this year, why not add some personal, homemade touches by making some of your own decorations? The below DIY project is perfect for kids and adults alike, is so simple, and easily customisable and you’ll love the results. With only a few materials and very simple steps, these star ornaments made from Pinnacle Hardware zinc-plated nuts are a great way to add a unique touch to this year’s Christmas decorations or could even make a great gift for friends and family.

Level of Difficulty:
Easy
Project Duration:
15 Minutes
Music album to listen along to (COMPULSORY ????):
Merry Christmas – Mariah Carey
STEP 1
Lay out the nuts in a star formation to ensure you have enough nuts and your desired shape.

STEP 2
Using super glue, stick the nuts together. Leave the nuts to dry (see drying/setting instructions on super glue) before moving on to the next step so they don’t fall apart. Make sure you cover any surfaces to avoid getting glue on them.

STEP 3
Once the glue has completely dried, thread your ribbon or twine through one of the holes and tie a knot.
Once your ornaments are complete, you can hang them up on your tree or around the house!
