STEP 1
Inventory and Measure Up
The first step in this situation is always to get all of your stuff out of the space and go through it, sorting your belongings into three piles: Keep, Throw Out and Donate or Sell. Once you have evaluated your stuff to see what is actually going back into the space and have measured it, you can now start to think about what storage products might be best suited to your needs.

STEP 3

After a quick trip to Bunnings, Andrew and Michelle unpack the car and are ready to make a start. The easy-to-follow instructions make it simple for them to knock together the first shelving unit. All they need is a rubber mallet! And the remaining storage items were as simple as 1, 2, 3. The kids even help with the finishing touches.
Large, heavy items are stored close to the ground. Everyday items are in the middle. Seasonal items are put on the top shelves, and valuable or dangerous items are in the lockable cabinet. And the bike hooks help create a lot of space and organisation, getting the bikes up off the floor and vertical to save room, while the other hooks help keep things like the fishing rods safely out of the way.
